What is a Place? It is a space, a neighborhood, a district characterized by context, relatable human scale and identity. Successful Places are inspiring spatial experiences of any scale from personal to regional. Successful Places create positive mental maps reinforced by elements of the built environment and its underlying infrastructure, its signs and symbols of wayfinding and interpretation and its landscape continuum. Placemaking and place-connectivity is the work of the Storrow/Kinsella studio.
